Monster Truck Show Tips:
- NUMBER 1 Take some form of hearing protection. The shows will give out ear plus, but they seem really big for a little kids ears!!! At the show there were too many kids not wearing hearing protection, and these trucks are REALLY loud! Get some nice kid size earmuffs that will be comfortable for the kids to wear during the show. You can also use earplugs, but get some before the show and cut them to a smaller size to fit your kids ears. At first it may seem like you can't really hear, but your get used to it and it will save your hearing. Don't risk damaging your child's hearing! Most monster truck shows have an early entry "Pit Pass" for all ticket holders. Make a plan to go early. You get to go down to the main floor, and see the monster trucks up close, take photos and meet the drivers. Make sure that this is an option with your ticket, or you will be hanging out early for nothing!- Bring a backpack full items you might need. Toys or games for the kids to play if they get board waiting for the show to start. Bring a camera, and a few snacks.
- Check on parking before you go, so that it isn't a stress the day of.
- Monster truck shows sells every cool toy or drink imaginable. Kids can go nuts!!! We give the kids a budget of $10-15 so that they can spend on what ever they want; food, t-shirts, drinks. If they want something that costs more, they can make up the with their own money. The budget helps kids pick exactly what they want, and limits the wining and crying for more.
